UK Stocks-Factors to watch on June 13
June 13 -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.33%.
* HOUSING MARKET: Britain's housing market lost momentum in May as the prospect of imminent rate cuts by the Bank of England faded, spurring a drop in buyer demand and house prices, a survey showed.
* BT: Mexican magnate Carlos Slim has taken a 3.16% stake in BT BT.L, Britain's biggest broadband and mobile operator, according to a stock market filing, in a boost to the company's new chief executive Allison Kirkby.
* LEGAL & GENERAL: Patron Capital Partners is one of the bidders for Legal & General's LGEN.L housebuilder CALA, in a deal expected to raise around one billion pounds ($1.28 billion), a source familiar with the matter said.
* BP: BP's BP.L head of refining and oil products trading, Sven Boss-Walker, has left the company with immediate effect to take up another job, a BP spokesperson said.
* OIL: Oil slips on U.S. growth worries, ample crude supply
* GOLD: Gold slips as Fed signals only one rate cut this year
* METALS: Copper prices bounced on Wednesday after cooler-than-expected U.S. inflation data boosted expectations that the Fed could cut interest rates as soon as September.
* EX-DIVS: JD Sports JD.L and Land Securities LAND.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
* London stocks rebounded on Wednesday on revived hopes of interest rate cuts in the near future after data showed cooling inflation in the U.S. and a slowing economy in Britain, while Rentokil Initial further added to the gains.
