BEIJING/SINGAPORE, July 31 (Reuters) -Paul Ruston, metals trading lead at global trading house Cargill, will leave the firm at the end of August, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.

Ruston, based in the UK, worked for more than two decades at U.S.-based Cargill, including stints in Johannesburg, Shanghai and Singapore, where Cargill's metals business is headquartered.

Oliver Handasyde Dick manages Cargill's China metals trading business, with Felix van Thiel heading the non-China business, said the memo to staff from Lee Kirk, Cargill's metals business unit leader.

Ruston is returning to his family farm in Cambridgeshire in the UK, the memo said..

Another Cargill veteran, Ross Hamou-Jennings, will retire at the end of this year as Asia-Pacific chair and enterprise leader for financial services and metals (FSM), according to a memo, Reuters reported last week.
