Adds detail in paragraphs 2-4

STOCKHOLM, Nov 28 (Reuters) -Sweden's debt office said on Thursday it expects the country to run a budget deficit this year of 78 billion crowns ($7.13 billion), and a deficit of 65 billion in 2025.

Its previous forecasts, from May, were for deficits of 71 billion crowns and 56 billion, respectively.

"After three years of budget surpluses, Sweden is facing a period of deficits, according to the Swedish National Debt Office's new forecast," it said in a statement.

"The deficits lead to increased borrowing, though the central government debt as a proportion of GDP will remain low," it added.

It said it will increase nominal government bond issuance next year, while it will scale back the supply of inflation-linked bonds.
