British holiday group Saga SAGA.L is in talks with Belgium-based insurer Ageas regarding a long-term partnership arrangement for its insurance division, Sky News reported on Tuesday.
Argan ARGAN.PA
Engineering services firm Argan reported third-quarter rental income up 9% at 51.1 million euros, and raised its 2024 annual rental income target to 198 million euros.
DSM-Firmenich DSFIR.AS
Dutch chemicals group DSM-Firmenich completed the sale of yeast extract business to Lesaffre. It did not disclose financial details of the deal.
EssilorLuxottica ESLX.PA
French-Italian eyewear maker EssilorLuxottica completed the acquisition of Supreme from VF Corporation, in a deal valued at $1.5 billion. It also acquired a majority stake in Heidelberg Engineering.
Eurazeo EURA.PA
French investment company Eurazeo announced the sale of 22 hotels by Grape Hospitality.
Renault RENA.PA
French carmaker Renault cut its stake in Nissan to 33.92% from 38.92%, according to a filing from Japan FSA.
Sanofi SASY.PA
French drugmaker Sanofi is said to ask for revised bids for its consumer health unit in coming days, according to Bloomberg News.
Sopra Steria SOPR.PA
French IT consulting company Sopra Steria Group announced a share buyback programme of 150 million euros that will run from Oct. 2, 2024 to May 20, 2025.
UK PRIME MINISTER IN BRUSSELS
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss trade, security and youth mobility as Starmer attempts to reset relations with the EU.
US DOCKWORKERS STRIKE
Dockworkers on the U.S. east and Gulf coasts went on strike after negotiations over a labor contract broke down, stopping the flow of about half of the country's ocean shipping.
