Oct 18 (Reuters) -Snapshot of the global export markets for grains, oilseeds and edible oils as reported by government and private sources as of the end of business on Friday:

CORN SALE: Taiwan's MFIG purchasing group bought about 65,000 metric tons of animal feed corn expected to be sourced from Brazil in an international tender on Friday, European traders said.

CORN, SOYBEAN, SOYOIL SALES: The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) confirmed private sales of 125,000 metric tons of U.S. corn and 292,800 tons of U.S. soybeans to unknown destinations for shipment in the 2024/25 marketing year. The agency also confirmed 21,000 tons in U.S. soyoil sales to Mexico for shipment in the 2024/25 marketing year.

PENDING TENDERS:

CORN, BARLEY TENDER: Algerian state agency ONAB has issued international tenders to purchase up to 240,000 metric tons of animal feed corn and 35,000 metric tons of feed barley, European traders said. The deadline for submission of price offers in the tenders was Oct. 17,they said.

WHEAT TENDER: Bangladesh's state grains buyer issued an international tender to purchase 50,000 metric tons of milling wheat, European traders said. The deadline for submission of price offers is Oct. 22,they said.

WHEAT TENDER: Jordan's state grain buyer has issued an international tender to buy up to 120,000 metric tons of milling wheat which can be sourced from optional origins, European traders said. The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is Oct. 22.

BARLEY TENDER: Jordan's state grains buyer has issued an international tender to purchase up to 120,000 metric tons of animal feed barley, European traders said. The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is Oct. 23.
