Atmos Energy raises FY profit forecast as demand rises May 8 (Reuters) - Atmos Energy ATO.N raised its full-year profit forecast on Wednesday after reporting an increase in quarterly profit, as the natural gas utility benefited from a rise in demand for the heating fuel. The firm said its consolidated net income rose to $432 million, or $2.85 per share, in the three months ended March 31, from $357.7 million, or $2.48 per share, a year earlier.
