US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids unchanged as harvest continues
CHICAGO, Sept 11 (Reuters) -Spot basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat were unchanged in the southern U.S. Plains on Wednesday as dealers eyed the ongoing spring wheat harvest and early winter wheat seeding.
* Protein premiums for HRW wheat shipped by rail to or through Kansas City were unchanged.KCBT/SCA
* Trading was quiet with little farmer selling, dealers said.
* Buyers and dealers are positioning ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Thursday supply and demand report.
* Declining yields in Russia and higher prices for Ukrainian wheat have helped boost Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures.
* Most-active December HRW wheat futures KWZ24 settled up 5 cents to $5.89 a bushel.
