US Cash Grains-Soybean basis mixed as farmers book sales
CHICAGO, Sept 26 (Reuters) -Basis bids for soybeans were mixed at U.S. elevators and processors on Thursday, as farmers hedged more of their crops, brokers said.
* Farmer selling seems more tilted toward soybeans than corn this week, with the soy harvest accelerating in the western Midwest, a broker said.
* The soy basis eased at river locations near Morris, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa, and at a Sioux City, Iowa, crush plant.
* Basis rose at a processor in Lafayette, Indiana, and at elevators around Chicago.
* The corn basis was mixed.
* CBOT soybean futures touched a two-month peak before ending lower. Corn futures also finished weaker. GRA/
