US Cash Grains-Corn and soy basis mostly flat to down as futures rebound
CHICAGO, July 16 (Reuters) -Spot basis bids for corn and soy were mostly flat to lower on Tuesday as futures rebounded from contract lows, though a positive global crop outlook continued to weigh on prices.
* The corn basis decreased at a processor and increased at a rail terminal. The soy basis decreased at a processor.
* Most-active corn futures Cv1 settled up 4-1/2 cents at $4.08-3/4. GRA/
* U.S. corn and soybeans were rated in 68% good to excellent condition, unchanged from last week, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its weekly crop progress report on Monday.
* Benchmark November soybeans SX24 settled up 3-1/4 cents at $10.43-1/4 a bushel after dipping to $10.37-1/4, the lowest on a continuous chart of the most-active soybean contract Sv1 since October 2020.
