UK's NatWest shines after upbeat results, buys Metro Bank's mortgage unit

** Shares in MTRO up as much as 5.7% to a near two-month high of 40p
** Q2 results have pretty much beaten expectations on every key metric, from income to margins - Hargreaves Lansdown analysts
** "It's also good to see full-year guidance on net interest income finally get the upgrade investors had been hoping to see," brokerage adds
** Up to last close, NWG had risen ~54% so far this year; MTRO up ~2%
