UK's Compass Group sees volume moderation for rest of year; shares down
** Shares of Compass Group CPG.L down 3.2% at 2,247p
** The British catering group expects volumes to moderate for the rest of the year after a boost in the past six months from more workers returning to offices
** Co reports HY earnings slightly ahead of market view, as new businesses and higher pricing helped offset inflationary headwinds; sees annual profit growth towards 15% and organic rev growth towards 10%
** Analysts' at Hargreaves said CPG shares were running strongly in the run-up to results and while the numbers are good, "it might not be enough to push the shares much higher today"
** Shares had risen 10.3% from mid-April to 3,476p till Monday's session
** CPG shares rose about 5.6% YTD
