* BOOHOO: British online fashion retailer Boohoo BOOH.L reported a 7%fall in annual core earnings in line with guidance after revenue dropped 17%, partly reflecting its strategy to target more profitable sales.

* WORKSPACE: London-focused flexible office-space provider Workspace Group WKP.L named Lawrence Hutchings as its new chief executive designate, succeeding Graham Clemett who will step down later this year.

* INFORMA: British events organiser Informa INF.L said that it now expects annual revenue and adjusted operating profit at the upper end of its previous forecast range, and increased its share buyback programme by 160 million pounds ($199.8 million).

* GOLD: Gold prices dipped as the dollar edged up, while market participants assessed the timeline for potential U.S. interest rate cuts and were on the lookout for fresh cues for further clarity on monetary policy.

* OIL: Oil prices fell in early Asian trade as industry data showed a pile up in both crude and fuel inventories in the U.S., a sign of weak demand, and cautious supply expectations emerged ahead of an OPEC+ policy meeting next month.

* METALS: Most base metals traded lower as a slightly firmer U.S. dollar made the greenback-priced commodity more expensive for buyers, while investors assessed supply outlook for metals.
