UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 18
Adds new items, updates futures
April 18 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.46%.
* HIPGNOSIS SONGS FUND: Concord Chorus, a music and theatrical rights firm, has agreed to acquire British music investor Hipgnosis Songs Fund SONG.L for $1.40 billion, the companies said.
* FERREXPO: Miner Ferrexpo FXPO.L reported an annual loss, hit by a $131 million provision it set aside in light of the on-going legal dispute against its Ferrexpo Poltava Mining (FPM) unit in Ukraine.
* EASYJET: British airline easyJet's EZJ.L winter performance improved on growing demand and as it added capacity, mitigating the impact of flight suspensions to Israel, and it said summer bookings were also building "well".
* AJ BELL: AJ Bell AJBA.L reported record assets under administration of 80.3 billion pounds, up 5% in the three months to end-March and 17% higher than the same period in 2023, pointing to signs of rebounding sentiment among investors.
* DUNELM: British homewares retailer Dunelm Group DNLM.L forecast gross margins to grow this year, after it reported a rise in sales during the third quarter on higher volumes as offers continued to attract customers back to their stores.
* DELIVEROO: British meal delivery company Deliveroo ROO.L reported a return to order growth in its first quarter, with a 2% increase year-on-year driven by its operations in France, UAE and Hong Kong and continued strength in Italy.
* THAMES WATER: Britain's struggling Thames Water must sort out its own financial issues, Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt said, warning that the British state would never insure investors against bad decisions.
* EX-DIVS: LSEG LSEG.L, Antofagasta ANTO.L, Croda CRDA.L, Weir Group WEIR.L, Fresnillo FRES.L and Unite Group UTG.L will trade without entitlement to their latest dividend pay-oust on Thursday.
