UCB drops to bottom of BEL 20 after KBC downgrade
** Shares in UCB UCB.BR fall 2.7% to the bottom of Belgium's BEL 20 .BFX blue-chip index after KBC Securities downgrades the biotech firm to "hold" from "accumulate"
** KBC says the downgrade is primarily caused by the substantial increase in UCB's share price, which has risen 135% from its November lows
** It says UCB has now reached a fair valuation, despite strong early launch metrics for Bimzelx and the presence of several pipeline catalysts for potential future growth
** KBC also raises its PT by 1.2% to 161 euros vs 150 euros currently, citing updated FY 2024 estimates
** Kepler Cheuvreux analyst David Evans attributes the share drop to the KBC downgrade, though he notes the stock has been volatile
