TSMC's Taipei-listed shares at record high as US stock hits new peak
** Taipei-listed shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) 2330.TW climb 1.9% to new high of T$1,055, tracking a jump in its U.S.-listed ADR
** TSMC's ADRs TSM.N jumped 4.8% to a record of $192.79 on Monday, briefly boosting the firm's market value to $1 trillion
** The U.S. stock closed up 1.4%, valuing TSMC at $828.6 bln
** TSMC, the world's largest contract chipmaker and supplier to companies like Apple AAPL.O and Nvidia NVDA.O, has benefited from strong orders for AI applications and potential price hike expectations
** "We maintains our Buy rating on TSMC's robust earnings visibility from expanding GenAI demand and strong leadership in leading-edge at rebounding margins," UBS said in a note last week
** Benchmark Taiwan SE weighted Index .TWII adds 0.1%
** Taiwan shares up 76.2% YTD, U.S.-listed ADR up 79.5% YTD
