Thyssenkrupp expects success in coming months regarding warship unit sale
FRANKFURT, Aug 14 (Reuters) -Thyssenkrupp TKAG.DE is confident that efforts to sell its warship division, either to a consortium of buyers or via a spin-off, will be successful in the "coming months", Chief Executive Miguel Lopez told analysts on Wednesday.
Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), which builds submarines and frigates, is currently being prepared for a standalone future, and both Carlyle CG.O and KfW KFW.UL are carrying out due diligence with a view to a potential majority acquisition.
