Terna to buy Acea's high-voltage grid in Rome
MILAN, Nov 6 (Reuters) -Italy's power grid operator Terna TRN.MI said on Wednesday it had reached a deal with utility Acea ACE.MI to buy part of the high-voltage network in the Rime area, in a move aimed at improving the electricity transmission service.
Acea said in a separate statement that the total consideration for the sale was 247 million euros ($265 million), of which nearly 224 million euros would be paid by Terna and around 23 million euros would come from energy regulator ARERA.
The consideration will be paid by Terna at the closing and is subject to a price adjustment mechanism, Acea said, adding the completion of the deal is expected in the first half of next year.
