Royal Caribbean jumps to lead gains among cruise stocks
** Cruise operator stocks rise between 2% and 9% in midday trading
** Royal Caribbean Cruises shares RCL.N jump as much as 9.9% to $153.55, on track for their best day since Nov. 2022; leads gains among peers
** Company says it entered exchange agreements with some holders of its 6.000% convertible senior notes, due 2025, for a combination of cash and shares of its common stock
** RCL notes to be exchanged are worth $731 mln; following exchange, company will have an outstanding amount of about $419 mln in aggregate
** Shares of Norwegian Cruise Line NCLH.N up 2.2% at $15.67, set to snap six-day losing streak
** U.S.-listed shares of Carnival Corp CCL.L, CCL.N rise 2.7% to $14.80; also on track to end six straight sessions of losses
** A day earlier, CCL dropped 2.7%, NCLH fell 3.8% while RCL closed up marginally higher, amid a broader market rout
** So far this year, RCL stock up about 18% while NCLH and CCL are down between 21% and 22%, including session's moves
