PayPal rises after Susquehanna upgrades to 'positive'
** Shares of payments firm PayPal Holdings PYPL.O rise 1.3% to $58.55 premarket
** Susquehanna upgrades "PYPL" to "positive" rating from "neutral" and maintains $71 PT, a 22.8% upside to stock's last close
** Brokerage believes PYPL will grow adjusted operating income and transaction margin dollars (TMDs) - a closely watched metric that reflects what it makes after facilitating transactions - above Street consensus over the next few years
** Adds the that recent annual incentive plan changes are appropriately placed to make "profitable growth" a top priority for PYPL as they prioritize that management grow TMDs and adjusted operating income which better aligns to stock price
** Susquehanna says increased pricing discipline at PYPL's payment platform Braintree may be the most important change to implement to get there
** Twenty-one of 47 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher and 26 "hold"; their median PT is $75 - LSEG
** As of last close, PYPL shares down 5.9% YTD
