Orsted rises after British renewable power auction win
** Shares in Orsted ORSTED.CO rise around 4% after the Danish wind turbine maker secured offshore wind farm projects in a British renewable energy auction
** Jefferies says the company was a key wind offshore winner of the UK's government auction latest round, where it was awarded contracts for 3,480 megawatts (MW) of capacity at its Hornsea 3 and Hornsea 4 offshore wind power projects
** "Successful projects in this round, including Ørsted's Hornsea 4, will benefit from a clearing price of £54.2/MWh in 2012 prices, which is a 45% increase from the equivalent price in the previous round," Jefferies says in a note
** Orsted's Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm was meanwhile awarded 54.23 pounds per MWh for a 1,080 MW share
** If gains hold the stock will see its best day in three months; it is among the best performers of pan-European 600 index .STOXX
