Nordex rises after strong Q1 results
** Shares in Nordex NDXG.DE are up 5% in early Frankfurt trade after the German wind turbine producer reported strong Q1 results
** It posts Q1 sales of 1.57 billion euros ($1.69 billion), up 29% from a year earlier
** Q1 EBITDA was 52.1 million euros, vs loss of 114.9 million euros last year
** "Nordex Q1 print came in strong, beating consensus across all metrics in the P&L," Jefferies writes, pointing to solid project execution and better quality backlog
** The broker notes Nordex continues to see good order momentum in Q2, though coming quarters will still be impacted by legacy projects
** "We see this as a blowout quarter, and given the continued good order momentum, we expect a positive reaction on the shares this morning," Jefferies says
