STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was up 0.5% to 83,036 points, while the broader NSE index .NSEI advanced 0.5% to 25,137 after the central bank eased its policy stance to "neutral", opening the door for rate cuts in coming months. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN was largely unchanged at 83.9625 per U.S. dollar after the central bank kept interest rates unchanged but changed its policy stance to "neutral". INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN071034G=CC was quoted at 102.30 rupees, with the yield down 4 bps at 6.7676%, as the central bank's shift in stance and the inclusion of debt in yet another global debt index aided sentiment. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was at 6.38%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC was at 6.09%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money INROND= rate was at 6.20% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.39%.
