MUMBAI, July 29 (Reuters) -STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN rose 23.12 points, or 0.03%, to 81,355.84, while the broader NSE index .NSEI lost 13.15 points, or 0.05%, to 24,821.7, off record highs hit earlier in the session, boosted by gains in banks. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN was flat versus the U.S. dollar, and quoted at 83.7275 per dollar, pressured by month-end corporate dollar demand with intervention from Reserve Bank of India helping the currency avert further losses. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN071034G=CC was quoted at 101.25 rupees, with the yield down 2 bps at 6.9188%, tracking a fall in U.S. yields. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INRAMONMI1Y= was down 2 bps at 6.66%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate INRSMONMI5Y= fell 3 bps to 6.20%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money INROND= rate was unchanged at 6.45%. The overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.32%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.3948%.
