Harris odds vs Trump plateau on PredictIt

HARRIS ODDS VS TRUMP PLATEAU ON PREDICTIT
Vice President Kamala Harris is in a neck-and-neck race with former President Donald Trump in some betting markets for the November U.S. presidential election, and her recent gains appear to have plateaued on PredictIt.
With 78 days to go before the Nov. 5 vote, contracts for a Harris victory are trading at 57 cents, with a potential $1 payout, on the PredictIt politics betting platform.
Trump contracts are at 46 cents, down from as much as 69 cents in mid-July. Harris contracts peaked at 59 cents on Aug. 11.
Oddschecker.com, which aggregates data from several platforms, has odds for a Harris election victory at an equivalent of 50% and Trump odds at an equivalent of 48%.
Polymarket, a decentralize predictions market, has Trump at a 49% probability and Harris at 50%.
The latest betting odds come after President Joe Biden cemented the Democratic Party's elevation of Harris to lead the fight for the White House with a convention speech on Monday.
