FRENCH POLITICS
France's new Prime Minister Michel Barnier is considering a temporary increase in corporate tax on the country's biggest companies as well as a tax on share buybacks, Le Monde newspaper reported on Sunday.
EV IMPORTS
The European Union is planning to vote on whether to introduce tariffs on imported electric vehicles made in China on Oct. 4, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
ATOS ATOS.PA
The struggling French IT firm said on Friday it received vote approval from more than the required two-thirds of its shareholders and creditors to proceed with a proposed accelerated safeguard plan.
ENGIE ENGIE.PA
Engie Brasil was the big winner of a power transmission auction held by Brazil on Friday, securing a contract to build transmission lines and substations in five states with investments of 2.9 billion reais ($533.8 million).
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The United Auto Workers union asked U.S. workers to vote in favour of a strike, accusing the French-Italian car maker of breaking its contract promises.
VIVENDI VIV.PA
The Company has entered financing agreements with a nominal value of 2 billion euros.
