Nov 8 (Reuters) -Nordic forward power prices gained on Friday, buoyed by forecasts for dry weather in the hydropower-reliant region.

* The Nordic front-quarter baseload power contract ENOFBLQc1 rose 1.97 euros, or 3.6%, to 56.25 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), as of 1240 GMT.

* The Nordic front-year ENOFBLYc1 gained 0.63 euro, or 1.7%, to 38.2 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).

* Nordic water reserves available 15 days ahead PCAEC00 were seen at 4.51 terawatt hours (TWh) above normal compared with 4.67 terawatt hours (TWh) above normal on Thursday.

* "Weather and spot price both point in the bullish direction. Dry 10-12 days then probably normal and perhaps bearishweather outlook," said Axel Weyler, an originator at Entelios Trading AB.

* Germany's Cal'25 TRDEBYc1, Europe's benchmark power contract, was up 1.5 euros at 87.09 euros per MWh.

* Dutch and British wholesale prices rose on Friday morning, reaching their highest in more than a week on expected colder and less windy weather in Europe next week. NG/EU

* In the European carbon market CFI2Zc1, the benchmark contract rose by 2.05 euros to 91.50 euros per metric ton.

* "The general trend to a cooler and partially more active pattern remains stable as all models agree on the westward movement of the high pressure system," Georg Muller, a meteorologist at LSEG, said in a note.

* The Nordic power price for next-day physical delivery FXSYSAL=NPX, or system price, rose 15.12 euros, or 73.01%, to 35.83 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).
