Edenred rises after better-than-expected Q1
** Shares in French vouchers and cards provider Edenred EDEN.PA rise around 4% after the company beat estimates on Q1 results
** The company posted an 18.8% rise in Q1 profit of ?HOW MUCH?, beating company compiled estimates
** Its Q1 total revenue reached 685 million euros, compared to 666 million euros in forecasts
** "Overall, we would expect the print to be supportive to the shares, especially in the context of the recent share price weakness and an increasing short interest," says JP Morgan
** Up until Wednesday's close, the stock lost about 9.5% month-to-date
** It's is down about 17.3% YTD
** "Edenred remains a story of sustained growth, while the Group is evolving in markets that are still under-penetrated," says Midcap Partners
** The broker added that the group has additional leverage in terms of profitability, presented solid FCF generation and has substantial acquisitive leeway
** The shares are among best performers of France's SBF 120 index .SBF120
