Oct 9 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000GMT on Wednesday:
** MCB Real Estate has sweetened its offer to acquire U.S. shopping center operator Whitestone REIT WSR.N to $1.45 billion including debt, according to a letter reviewed by Reuters on Wednesday. nL1N3LL0R3
** Paris FC, the capital's second-tier soccer club, is in the process of being sold off to the Arnault family - whose head, Bernard Arnault, is the billionaire behind LVMH LVMH.PA - and to the energy drinks company, Red Bull, reported L'Equipe paper. nL8N3LL1N1
** Adani Enterprises ADEL.NS aims to raise $500 million through a share sale it launched on Wednesday, two sources with direct knowledge said, as billionaire Gautam Adani's flagship firm seeks to shore up capital to fund expenses and repay debt. nL4N3LL1AY
** The U.S. Department of Justice's proposed remedies to break up Google's search dominance could weaken its main profit engine and stall its advances in artificial intelligence, even though a final outcome may be years away, analysts said. nL4N3LL1FP
** Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund, one of the largest shareholders in Thames Water, has written off its nearly 9.9% stake in the troubled British utility, the Financial Times reported. nL4N3LK1SI
** China's Zijin Mining Group 601899.SS will buy the Akyem Gold Mine Project in Ghana from U.S.-based Newmont Corp NEM.N for $1 billion, the companies said on Wednesday. nL4N3LL015
** Woodside Energy WDS.AX said on Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of U.S. liquefied natural gas developer Tellurian TELL.A, including its U.S. Gulf Coast LNG export project, for $1.2 billion including debt. nL4N3LK1W4
** Shin Kong 2888.TW shareholders voted on Wednesday to approve a merger with Taishin Financial by a wide margin, with over 70% estimated to have voted in favor of the deal. nL1N3LL05B
** Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard (ACT) <ATD.TO has made a revised bid for Seven & I Holdings 3382.T, the Japanese company said on Wednesday, which two people familiar with the matter said hiked the offer by 22% to about $47 billion.nL4N3LL030
** The German government has enlisted Deutsche Bank DBKGn.DE to help with the planned sale of a 20-30% stake in state-owned utility Uniper UN0k.DE, two people close to the matter said. nL8N3LK1DZ
** Carmaker Stellantis STLA.MI is on course to secure Italian government backing for its planned sale of a majority stake in robotics business Comau to One Equity Partners, a source close to the matter said on Wednesday. nL8N3LL0HW
** Shanghai-based Guotai Junan Securities 601211.SS on Wednesday announced details of its plan to merge with its cross-town rival Haitong Securities 600837.SS in a share swap deal, a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange showed. nL1N3LL0HO
