Baader ups Ceconomy on sports event boost after upbeat H1
** Baader Helvea upgrades German consumer electronics group Ceconomy CECG.DE to "add" from "reduce", citing positive H1 results and a favourable macro environment
** Sports events like the Euro 2024 soccer tournament and the Olympics can boost TV sales, while Ceconomy also benefits from lower inflation, Baader says
** It adds the company has managed to simplify its shareholder and management structures, resulting in faster decision-making processes and lower costs
** The broker lifts its FY adjusted EBIT expectations by 10.5% to 300 million euros ($325 million), in line with the new company guidance, after Ceconomy beat H1 expectations
** Out of eight analysts that cover Ceconomy, four rate the stock "strong buy" or "buy", three "hold" and one "sell" - LSEG
