** Stock trades ex-dividend, after declaring an interim dividend of 69 cents a share last week
** Analysts at Citi see more dealmaking for WDS for its energy transition by 2030
** Brokerage downgrades its stock rating on the energy giant to "sell" from "neutral", cuts target price by 2% to A$24.50
** WDS last month bought a clean ammonia project in Texas for $2.35 bln
** Brokerage says a lack of credible upstream growth in the making, a single asset in blue ammonia, and a large Atlantic Basin LNG portfolio, all suggest that WDS' M&A spree will continue, putting pressure on its balance sheet
** Woodside stock down 13.6% YTD, based on last close
