POLITICS
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will visit a site in Albania on Wednesday where her government plans to build a reception camp to house thousands of migrants picked up at sea.
Looking to curb migration to Italy, Meloni signed a deal with Albania last year to send some asylum-seekers to the Balkan country and process the asylum requests there.

DEBT
Italy's plan to raise around 20 billion euros over three years by selling state assets to rein in debt is almost certain to fall short of its targets due to persistent political and regulatory hurdles, analysts and officials say.
ENERGY
The European Commission has approved an Italian state aid scheme potentially worth 35.3 billion euros ($38 billion) over the next 20 years to support the increase of electricity produced through renewable sources, the EU said on Tuesday.

FTSE share indexes release results of quarterly review effective as of June 24.

Credit rating agency S&P said on Tuesday it had cut the outlook on the Italian energy company to 'negative' from 'stable'. It affirmed Eni's ratings at 'A-' and 'A-2'.
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The carmaker sees its Italian plants running at full capacity in 2030 as plans for new models, including hybrid ones, are expected to support production, Chief Executive Carlos Tavares said on Tuesday.
(*) After government subsidies for electric car purchases run out on Monday, the first day they were made available, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said on Tuesday more subsides may be offered, but would have to be very selective.

Swisscom SCMN.S said on Wednesday its Italian unit Fastweb has sold its stake in Telecom Italia's last-mile grid unit, FiberCop, to a subsidiary of private equity firm KKR KKR.N for 438.7 million euros.

The Italian digital services provider set the price of new shares to be issued in a capital hike at 62.118 euros per share, and announced the completion of the purchase of Infordata Group for 22 million euros.
