- Chinese online retailer JD.com 9618.HK is exploring a bid for British parcel delivery company Evri, whose private equity owners are seeking to offload for about 2 billion pounds ($2.54 billion).
- Shell SHEL.L has paused the construction of one of Europe's largest biofuel plants in an effort to tackle technical problems and bring costs under control, as its boss attempts to boost returns.
