SINGAPORE, July 26 (Reuters) -Palm oil FCPOc3 may test resistance at 3,953 ringgit per metric ton, a break above which could open the way towards 3,977 ringgit to 4,017 ringgit.

The bounce triggered by the support at 3,881 ringgit is classified as a part of a wave C from 4,017 ringgit, which is expected to travel to 3,849 ringgit.

However, how high this bounce could go remains unknown. A weak bounce may end around 3,953 ringgit, while a strong one could extend to 3,998 ringgit.

A strong bounce would reshape the chart formation, turning the bearish reading into a bullish one. Immediate support is at 3,913 ringgit, a break below which could trigger a drop into 3,849 ringgit to 3,881 ringgit.

On the daily chart, as long as the contract remains below resistance at 4,023 ringgit, the bearish wave count will remain intact, which suggests a fall to 3,704 ringgit.
