The Times
- Three British oil and gas companies, namely Jersey Oil and Gas JOG.L, Serica Energy SQZ.L and Neo Energy, have delayed a decision on a new development in the North Sea amid uncertainty over whether a potential UK Labour government would impose more punitive windfall taxes.
- Britain's biggest water utility Thames Water has resurrected plans for a giant 1.25 billion pounds ($1.60 billion) reservoir in Oxfordshire in an attempt to shore up supply in and around London.
