Nexans jumps to highest in 17 yrs after H1 beat, upgraded guidance
** Shares in Nexans NEXS.PA rise 10%, to its highest price in 17 years, after the group posted better-than-expected H1 results and raised its FY guidance
** H1 sales, adj. EBITDA and net income came above consensus, with both J.P. Morgan and Jefferies pointing to "strong" results across all segments
** "What surprised us is the magnitude of the guidance upgrade given the H1 beat as Nexans raised the midpoint of the guidance by EUR 75mn (from EUR 700mn to EUR 775mn, vs JPM estimate of EUR 765mn)", JPM says
