ANKARA, Oct 11 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Friday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 was quoted at 34.2950 against the U.S. dollar at 0436 GMT, weakening from Thursday's close of 34.1850.

The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 1,84% lower at 8,964.10 points on Thursday.


GLOBAL MARKETS

Asian shares were headed for the first weekly loss in five as the stunning rally in Chinese shares took a breather, although all eyes are on the details of the much-anticipated fiscal stimulus from Beijing this weekend.


ERDOGAN IN SERBIA

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan will hold an official visit to Serbia. He will meet Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic and they will chair a High-Level Cooperation Council meeting, before holding a joint news conference and participating in the Turkey-Serbia Business Forum in Belgrade. (1100 GMT) (1400 GMT)


OPPOSITION

Ozgur Ozel, head of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), will visit the northwestern provinces of Canakkale and Bursa to attend a series of meetings.


DEFENCE MINISTER

Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler will participate in the handover ceremony of the command of the NATO mission in Kosovo (KFOR), which will go from Turkey to Italy.


CENTRAL BANK SURVEY TRINTM=ECI

The central bank will announce the results of its October survey of market participants' expectations for the economy. (0700 GMT)


CURRENT ACCOUNT TRCURA=ECI

The central bank will announce current account data for August. (0700 GMT)


TURKSTREAM

The TurkStream pipeline that ships Russian gas to Turkey via the Black Sea could help Europe to cope with the expected loss of gas pumped via Ukraine, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Thursday.


TURKISH ENERGY BOURSE

Turkish energy bourse Enerji Piyasalari Isletme A.S. (EPIAS) will expand its operations over the next few years and an initial public offering may be considered after the expansion, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said on Wednesday.


TURKEY-ALBANIA

Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan will give a "considerable" number of kamikaze drones of an unspecified type to Albania, the country's Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Thursday.


EVACUATIONS FROM LEBANON

One of the ships carrying evacuated Turkish citizens and their relatives from Lebanon arrived in Turkey's southern Mersin port late on Thursday, the foreign ministry said.
