ANKARA, Nov 8 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Friday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 34.3395 against the U.S. dollar at 0410 GMT, weakening from its close of 34.2050 on Thursday.
The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 0.95% higher at 8,946.13 points on Thursday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks rose broadly on Friday, tracking Wall Street's overnight rise to record highs, as investors digested the Federal Reserve's message for careful interest rate cuts even with expectations for big fiscal spending under incoming President Donald Trump.
INFLATION REPORT TRINFF=ECI
Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan holds a briefing to present the bank's quarterly inflation report (0730 GMT). The bank maintained its year-end inflation forecast to 38% in its previous report in August.
TURKEY-GREECE
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will meet with his Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis to discuss bilateral issues in his visit to Athens.
