STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was 0.3% down at 78,537, while the broader NSE index .NSEI was 0.32% down at 23,919 as investors avoided making big bets ahead of the U.S. presidential election and as sustained foreign outflows continued to weigh on sentiment. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN was nearly unchanged at 84.1150 versus the U.S. dollar, as likely intervention by the central bank helped the currency hold above its record low amid possible equity outflows and uncertainty about the U.S. election. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 99.93 rupees, with the yield nearly flat at 6.7987% as traders awaited cues from the outcome of the U.S. presidential election. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was unchanged at 6.54%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC was one basis point higher at 6.30%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money INROND= rate was at 6.40%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.20%.
