LONDON, Sept 3 (Reuters) -VTTI's oil storage terminal in the Europoort area of the Port of Rotterdam has resumed normal operations after a power outage at the port impacted the facility for a few hours earlier on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the company told Reuters.

The Service Terminal Rotterdam facility located in the Botlek area of the port was not affected by the outage, a source close to the matter told Reuters.

The VTTI terminal specialises in the storage of fuel oil and middle-distillates such as diesel, while the Service Terminal works principally with the storage of marine fuels. The Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp area is the largest oil trading and storage hub in Northwest Europe.
