Ukraine 2024 grain, oilseed crop reaches 35 mln T so far
KYIV, Sept 6 (Reuters) -Ukraine had harvested almost 35 million metric tons of grain and oilseeds as of Sept. 5, agriculture ministry data showed on Friday.
The data showed the output included 21.9 million tons of wheat, 5.5 million ton of barley, 458,000 tons of corn, 3.4 million tons of rapeseed.
The ministry has said it saw the 2024 corn harvest at about 25 million tons while wheat crop could total 21.8 million tons.
The ministry has raised its forecast for the 2024 grain harvest to 56 million tons from 52.4 million tons. Together with oilseeds, the crop could total 77 million tons, it said.
