MOSCOW, Aug 20 (Reuters) -Russia maintains its 2024 grain harvest forecast of 132 million metric tons, as well as its grain export forecast of 60 million tons, Russian Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut was quoted as saying by Russian news agency Interfax on Tuesday.

The 2024 wheat harvest forecast is 86 million tons, Lut said.

The Agriculture Ministry has not yet formed a final forecast for wheat exports, Lut said, adding that it was necessary to meet domestic needs first.

Grain exports last year totalled a record 72 million metric tons, Lut said.
