Forward rates drop on rising water levels, wetter weather view

July 23 (Reuters) -Nordic forward power prices fell on Tuesday, pressured by an increase in water levels and forecasts of wetter weather in the hydropower-reliant region.

* The Nordic front-quarter contract ENOFBLQc1 fell 0.35 euro to 46 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) at 1039 GMT.

* The Nordic front-year contract ENOFBLYc1 lost 0.15 euro to 42.25 euros.

* Nordic water reserves available 15 days ahead PCAEC00 were seen at 0.61 terawatt hours (TWh) below normal, compared with 3.61 TWh below normal on Monday.

* "The next few days look very wet and in total, the 10-day outlook is still around 50% wetter than the seasonal average," analysts at Energi Danmark said in a daily note.

* Meanwhile, Dutch and British wholesale gas prices were little changed as demand was flat and the U.S. Freeport LNG export plant resumed shipments. NG/EU

* Germany's Cal'25 baseload TRDEBYc1, Europe's benchmark contract, fell 0.60 euro to 86.10 euros/MWh.

* Carbon front-year allowances CFI2Zc1 added 0.37 euro to 65.09 euros a tonne.

* "The rest of this week will be partially cloudy with some showers and near normal temperatures," according to Georg Muller, a meteorologist at LSEG.

* "The weekend (will) see some more intense rain events in the west and south," Muller added.

* The Nordic power price for next-day physical delivery FXSYSAL=NPX, or system price, fell 0.42 euros or 1.5% to 27.28 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).
