ISTANBUL, June 14 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Friday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 32.5100 against the U.S. dollar overnight after closing at 32.3500 on Thursday.

The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 2.23% higher at 10,391.89 points on Thursday.


GLOBAL MARKETS

Asian stocks fell on Friday as investors pondered the outlook for U.S. rates after the Federal Reserve tempered its rate-cut views even as inflation came in softer than expected, while the yen was shaky before the Bank of Japan's policy meeting.


ERDOGAN ATTENDS G7 SUMMIT

President Tayyip Erdogan will take part in the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Italy, attending sessions on Africa and the Mediterranean, artificial intelligence and energy, as well as holding a series of bilateral talks.


SIMSEK ON TAXATION

Turkey has postponed work on introducing a tax on stock transactions after feedback from relevant parties, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Thursday.


CENTRAL BANK SURVEY TRINTM=ECI

The central bank will release its monthly survey of market participants' expectations for the economy. (0700 GMT)


NATO DEFENCE MINISTERS

Defence Minister Yasar Guler attends the last day sessions of the NATO defence ministers meeting in Brussels.


VICE PRESIDENT

Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz will inspect a state housing project and take part in a meeting to assess the situation in the southern province of Hatay, one of the worst hit areas in last year's earthquake. (1145 GMT)


ENVIRONMENT MINISTER

Environment Minister Mehmet Ozhaseki will inspect construction projects in the southern province of Adiyaman, also badly affected by last year's earthquake.


EDUCATION MINISTER

Education Minister Yusuf Tekin will attend events marking the end of the school year in the capital Ankara. (0630 GMT)
