July 22 (Reuters) -Terex TEX.N said on Monday it would acquire Dover Corp's DOV.N environmental solutions business in an all-cash deal valued at $2 billion, as it looks to tap into the growing waste management market.

Garbage disposal firms are riding a steady wave of demand, spurred by an uptick in urbanization and industrialization.

Dover's environmental solution business consists of several companies that build machinery and other ancillary equipment to serve the waste collection industry.

The company said it will create a new environmental solutions segment that includes the newly acquired unit as well as Terex's existing Utilities business, which makes bucket trucks.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of the year.

UBS Investment Bank served as Terex's financial advisor while Fried Frank and Pryor Cashman served as its legal advisors for the deal.

Terex, which manufactures materials processing machinery and aerial work platforms, designs and builds products used in maintenance, manufacturing, energy, recycling and construction applications.
