The 2022 champion Elena Rybakina, seeded fourth, beat Germany's Laura Siegemund 6-3 3-6 6-3.

1740 FRITZ TO FACE TABILO IN THIRD ROUND

American 13th seed Taylor Fritz moved past Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech 6-3 6-4 3-6 6-4 to set up a third-round clash with Chile's Alejandro Tabilo, who battled through against Italy's Flavio Cobolli in five sets to book his spot.

1730 SWIATEK OUSTS MARTIC

World number one Iga Swiatek beat Croatian Petra Martic 6-4 6-3 and will face Kazakhstan's Yulia Putintseva in the third round.

1725 RUNE MARCHES ON

Danish 15th seed Holger Rune came from a set down to beat Brazil's Thiago Seyboth Wild 3-6 6-3 6-2 6-2.

1645 SVITOLINA BEATS NIEMEIER

Last year's semi-finalist Elina Svitolina, seeded 21st, beat Germany's Jule Niemeier 6-3 6-4 to set up a third-round meeting with 10th seed Ons Jabeur.

1630 COLLINS GETS PAST GALFI

American 11th seed Danielle Collins beat Italy's Dalma Galfi 6-3 6-4 and will face Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, seeded 20th, in the third round.

1545 JABEUR MARCHES ON WITH MONTGOMERY WIN

Tunisian 10th seed Ons Jabeur, twice a finalist, advanced to the third round after a 6-1 7-5 victory over American teenager Robin Montgomery.

1544 DJOKOVIC PASSES FEARNLEY TEST

Serbian second seed Novak Djokovic continued his quest for an eight Wimbledon crown with a hard-fought 6-3 6-4 5-7 7-5 win over Briton Jacob Fearnley to reach round three.

1507 DIMITROV SURVIVES SHANG SCARE

Bulgarian 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov came back from two sets down to defeat China's Shang Juncheng 5-7 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2 6-4.

1506 DART STUNS BOULTER

Harriet Dart upset 32nd seed Katie Boulter 4-6 6-1 7-6(8) in an all-British clash on Court One.

1500 SHELTON WINS FIVE-SET THRILLER AGAINST HARRIS

American 14th seed Ben Shelton rallied from a set down to beat South Africa's Lloyd Harris 4-6 7-6(5) 6-7(5) 6-3 7-6(7).

1448 KALINSKAYA THROUGH AFTER WIN OVER BOUZKOVA

Russian 17th seed Anna Kalinskaya comfortably beat Czech Marie Bouzkova 6-4 6-1.

1441 WANG UPSETS PEGULA

China's Wang Xinyu knocked out American fifth seed Jessica with a stunning 6-4 6-7(7) 6-1 victory to reach the third round.

1418 MONFILS KNOCKS OUT WAWRINKA

Frenchman Gael Monfils, 37, sealed a hard-fought 7-6(5) 6-4 7-6(3) win over three-times Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka.

"It was a veteran battle. That's why we still love the game. We are just good friends. Stan is someone I look up to. It's always a privilege to play him. Today I won, but I know the next one it could be him," Monfils said.

1343 HURKACZ RETIRES HURT

Polish seventh seed Hubert Hurkacz was forced to retire injured at 9-8 down in the fourth set tiebreak against 20-year-old Frenchman Arthur Fils who was leading 7-6(2) 6-4 2-6 6-6.

"It's tough to win a match like this against a friend," Fils said. "We were playing super good in the fourth. We had some great points. He was jumping everywhere. I'm really sorry for him. I hope he will recover quickly."

1318 KOSTYUK OVERCOMES SAVILLE

Ukrainian 18th seed Marta Kostyuk produced a fine comeback to beat Australian Daria Saville 4-6 7-6(2) 6-4.

1213 DE MINAUR DOWNS MUNAR

Australian ninth seed Alex de Minaur secured a comprehensive 6-2 6-2 7-5 win over Spaniard Jaume Munar.

1124 BADOSA BEATS FRUHVIRTOVA

Former world number two Paula Badosa eased past Czech Brenda Fruhvirtova 6-4 6-2 to move into the third round.

1123 KEYS THRASHES WANG

American 12th seed Madison Keys made light work of China's Wang Yafan, winning 6-2 6-2 to advance to the last 32.

1100 KASATKINA DISHES OUT DOUBLE BAGEL TO MIYAZAKI

Russian 14th seed Daria Kasatkina outclassed Briton Yuriko Miyazaki 6-0 6-0.
