LONDON, May 22 (Reuters) -Renewable Power Capital (RPC), a renewable energy investment platform backed by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, said on Wednesday it has secured a 555 million euro ($602 million) financing for its onshore wind portfolio in Sweden.

The portfolio comprises four wind farms in the Kramfors and Sollefteå municipalities in Sweden, all currently under construction.

When completed, the projects will have a combined capacity of 553 megawatts and be capable of providing enough power for the equivalent of 182,000 households, RPC said.

The finance facility, now closed, was provided by lenders such as CIBC, Danske Bank DANSKE.CO, Export Development Canada and NatWest NWG.L .

Germany's Nordex NDXG.DE will provide turbines for the wind farms, which are expected to begin operations between the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, RPC added.

Renewable Power Capital invests in the development, construction and operation of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects.
