Montreal port workers begin strike at two terminals for three days, port authority says
Sept 30 (Reuters) -A union at the port of Montreal has begun a three day-strike at two terminals on Monday as workers demand higher wages, Port Montreal said in a statement.
“Montreal Port Authority expresses its disappointment that no agreement has been reached between the MEA and the Longshoremen's Union to avoid a work stoppage," the port said.
The two terminals account for 41% of the port's container traffic.
