July 31 (Reuters) -Italian asset manager Anima Holding ANIM.MI reported on Wednesday a yearly increase of 59% in its adjusted net profit for the first six months of the year, helped by positive contributions from the now consolidated Kairos and Castello SGR.

The group, which offers its products mainly through distribution agreements with banks in Italy, posted half-year consolidated adjusted net profit of 124.9 million euros ($135.3 million), compared to 78.8 million euros from the same period the year before.

"Thanks also to the contribution of Kairos, consolidated since May, Anima is passing the 200 billion euro asset under management (AuM) mark and looks with confidence at the trajectory of net inflows in the months to come," CEO Alessandro Melzi d'Eril said in a statement.
