Milan Stock Exchange After Hours market closed.


SARAS SRS.MI

Vitol-backed Varas said on Friday it had crossed the 66.67% threshold needed for extraordinary shareholder resolution after buying out minority investors in the Italian oil refiner holding in total 29.6% of its capital - meaning it owns 79.72% of Saras when including its initial stake. It added it would reopen the buyout offer, which has been extended to Aug. 16, between Aug. 26-30.


GENERALI GASI.MI

Italy's top insurer's shares closed down 1.9% after its non-life segment was hit by the impact of natural disasters in the first-half of the year, while operating profit was boosted by the group's life and wealth management businesses.


ENEL ENEI.MI

The Chilean government applied new pressure on Friday on Italian power distributor to expedite the process of restoring power to customers who have been without electricity since a severe storm caused prolonged service disruptions last week.


AZIMUT AZMT.MI

Founder and Chairman Pietro Giuliani was quoted as saying in Saturday's Milano Finanza he "could neither deny nor confirm" a foreign press report about Oaktree being in exclusive talks to buy a stake in the Italian asset manager's Australian business, adding that "something is happening."

Brazilian emergency crews on Saturday recovered the remains of the 62 victims aboard an airliner - an ATR-72 turboprop - that plunged to the ground near Sao Paulo the day before, killing all on board. Franco-Italian ATR, jointly owned by Airbus and Leonardo, told Reuters on Friday that its specialists were "fully engaged" with the investigation into the crash.
