The part of Turin's Mirafiori plant that produces car bodies will stop working the whole month of May, several Italian papers reported on Thursday. Corriere della Sera reported the stop might last until the end of August.


STMICROELECTRONICS STMPA.MI

(*) The chipmaker on Thursday lowered its full-year sales guidance, the latest semiconductor company to struggle with weakening demand from car makers and a further decline in orders from laptop and phone companies. The warning came after the company posted lower-than-expected first-quarter results.

ENI ENI.MI

The energy group said on Wednesday itwill cut its leverage in the coming quarters, turning to disposals and away from major acquisitions, its Chief Financial Officer said on Wednesday, after the group increased its 2024 share buyback.

TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI

The former phone monopoly said on Wednesday it had appointed Alberta Figari as its chairwoman and confirmed Pietro Labriola as CEO.


BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO BPSI.MI

Fitch Ratings said on Wednesday it had upgraded its rating for the lender at 'BBB-' from 'BB+', with a stable outlook.


MONCLER MONC.MI

The fashion group posted a 16% increase in first quarter sales at constant exchange rates, boosted by a solid demand in China.

FERRARI RACE.MI

The luxury sports car maker said it signed a multi-year partnership with HP HPQ.N, making the world's second-largest PC vendor the new so-called title sponsor of Ferrari's motor racing team, including for Formula One.


WEBUILD WBD.MI

The construction group said on Wednesday it had booked in orders worth 5.5 billion euros since the beginning of the year, mostly from foreign markets such as Canada, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
